Location:
Southern Iceland
Skógafoss lies along the Skógá River where the former coastline of Iceland used to be.
Allure:
An 82ft wide, 200ft tall work of nature.
Best time to visit:
Due to the curtain of water the odds of seeing a rainbow in the sunlight are very high. Considering this the best time to visit is probably not during the winter when nights are long. It’s incredibly easy to get to from the nearby highway, so as long as there’s sun you’re good to go!
